A married couple who lives in 2 countries
This project was taken on by us in its entirety together with the landscape space. The main focus was on the fundamental naturalness and natural feel of the pine forest and the wooden villa inscribed between the trees.
The goal was to design the House as a resource place of Power with a powerful and intuitive transmission of intention embedded in it. To create a kind of natural Oasis — a place where you want to come back to reboot, where you feel calm and completely safe.

Externally, the villa turned out to be a super modern architectural form of impressive size in a laconic black color, but it is made of natural wooden beams, not of concrete, glass and metal, used, as a rule, in the construction of modern villas. The use of natural materials makes the villa cozy and warm, and the color, size and shape — relevant both outside and inside. When you look at the villa, you get a feeling of lightness and openness of the villa to the whole plot.
The house should be equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living, recreation and work. It should include all the necessary rooms ergonomically comfortable according to the needs of its inhabitants.
We wanted to make the residents and guests fall in love with the oasis we are creating, with the feeling of coziness of experiencing it as a whole with the entire environment and the interior spaces of the interiors.
The villa is made of Finnish laminated timber and fills almost the entire plot where it is located. The project combines the techniques of working with space and territory in a pine forest, where the trees were the starting point and absolutely all of them were preserved.
Working with an array of pine trees and its perception in the volume of the entire forest area was an interesting challenge for us.
The supplier and assembler of the main solid timber for the house was Honka. They were provided with a sketch design of the house. After that, together with the factory the necessary architectural, structural and technical units, drawings of cross-sections and cross-sections for the assembly of the house from the timber beam were worked out and prepared.
Working with an array of pine trees and its perception in the volume of the entire forest area was an interesting challenge for us.
The supplier and assembler of the main solid timber for the house was Honka. They were provided with a sketch design of the house. After that, together with the factory the necessary architectural, structural and technical units, drawings of cross-sections and cross-sections for the assembly of the house from the timber beam were worked out and prepared.
Each functional zone of the project, both external territory and internal spaces of the house, are self-sufficient in emotional coloring of their perception.
The logic of placement and use of premises and routes of movement are harmonious and inextricably linked to the way the internal architecture of the house as a whole is organized and the plot is planned outside.
The external environment and the internal space of the villa are designed as one indivisible whole — a living organism to make a person feel comfortable everywhere and from the moment he enters the territory of the villa through the entrance gate. In Russia, due to the climate and mentality, this is most often not taken into account when choosing architectural and landscape solutions.

When building the internal and external architectural forms, facades of the house, in addition to ergonomics and functionality of the organization of rooms, we used the ancient knowledge of Vastu system of harmonization of spaces and sacral geometry, conveyed through the shape of objects, work with materials with an understanding of their impact on the psychological and emotional state of its inhabitants for their comfortable living.
Mirrors and reflective surfaces in the house are located taking into account its planetary division into sectors — also according to the Vastu system — and the ability to collect energy flows inside the house, not to release them outside, so that the inhabitants of the house were filled with energy, not feeling tired, as it often happens, if you do not take into account this factor of influence.
A place was organized on the site so that a large fire could be lit. It was surrounded by large stone megaliths (boulders) made of rock, specially brought from the mountains, to enhance the feeling of strength and peculiarity of this place and the people living in it and being a single ecosystem with it, created for comfortable stay both inside and outside the house.
The design of the house provides an abundance of terraces around it, as well as the presence of sliding window-door systems in many rooms, including around the fireplace room, which work in two modes, in winter turning it into a warm cozy space, in summer into an open veranda connecting the house with the territory of the plot.

Cozy bedrooms, study, bathroom on the second floor are also harmoniously connected by terraces, which are surrounded by tall pine trees, creating the effect of a protective screen from the information effects of the outside world and the hustle and bustle. Thus we get a closed comfortable local space with its own unique atmosphere, filled with warmth, tranquility and coziness.
The villa is quite large in area, but it is designed in such a way that the inhabitants of the house do not feel the pressure and massiveness of the structure neither inside nor outside.
The architectural solution of the second light in the living room with a fireplace and in the pool area combined with the lounge — living room on the first floor gives a large-scale sense of ceiling height and emphasizes the library in the form of stylish shelves, located along the entire height of the wall of the first and second floors, made of brass and steel. At the same time, the rooms of the second floor are made in the usual comfortable height for a person. Thus, in a country house we can see the difference in the perception of each of the rooms depending on its purpose, functionality and feasibility.

When using heavy materials in the interior, we achieved a feeling of lightness and coziness with the help of shadow profiles and hidden skirting boards in wall finishing, creating a shadow effect by fixing massive steel racks at a certain distance from the walls, which creates a feeling of isolation of the object as a model, but at the same time it is part of the whole room.
Special emphasis was placed on complex engineering and structural solutions, adjacency nodes. For example, ventilation and air conditioning is carried out through strips of narrow diffusers integrated into the wooden architecture of the house. A system of tall built-in doors was used on the basement floor.
This House is created as a place to fill oneself and one’s reality. For its inhabitants, the space will become a modern fortress — not literally, but through the connection with nature by means of a well-planned landscape, the location of the house itself in it, their integrity and inextricable relationship with the natural world of trees and stones on the living earth, preserving and respecting its primordiality.
